Did Jesus know that He is paying for these satans?

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

If I understand you correctly, you are saying that most Christians are being afflicted by STDs and AIDS and we shouldn't be if Jesus has paid the price for our sins. If that is what your saying you have misunderstood the concept of being forgiven for your sins. Jesus' sacrifice was a means to remove the gap between God and man. We now have an advocate at the right hand of the throne of God pleading our case. That does not mean we can sin willfully and not face the consequences for that sin. It means IF we sin we have an avenue to be forgiven. I'd also like to say, not all Christians are alcoholics or sex addicts. Some have those afflictions and need help to overcome them but I'd say most Christians struggle more with less health destructive sins.

I thought I used a lot of words to say very little (I know, I get it) until I read some of the answers in this forum!

Short as I can make it, satan does not deserve to be capitalized; there is only one of him; Jesus paid the price for our sins, not just crimes; anyone is included in the package as long as they (& this is where the other lady missed the boat) are willing to accept Jesus as their Lord & Savior. No wannabe's allowed, however. You gotta mean it, or just like Santa, He'll know, so you better watch out! Finally, WE don't get to decide who is or isn't a sinner. God does that, & He's got some pretty strict guidelines, so we'd do well to leave it to Him.

God bless you as you search for His Truth.

There has been no sin free people, save Jesus, ever born into this world, present company included, and Jesus paid the price for them all, knowingly. Having said that, not everyone will benefit from it because redemption must be accepted by the individual.
Those who think they can save themselves will be lost along with those that know they can't but don't accept life eternal.

People say some stupid things in here.........but some of those stupid remarks are VERY intellegent to the one you just made.

You can call Bush whatever you want, I don;'t care....be glad you have the freedom to do that.
The fact is that he has kept your sorry butt from being attacked for over 5 years now since we took the fight "over there".

Our people have no respect for anyone any more. The President is our Commander in Chief and even if you don;'t agree with him, He........the position.....deserves respect. Even some of the "leaders" we have , have no respect. i.e. Kerry made the comment that ANYTHING Bush is for , I am against. How stupid is that?
Anyway....I hate reading long posts and this one could go on forever so I'll stop ith here by saying............STOP BEING SO STUPID

and you have a Merry Christmas....and be glad you're still allowed to have it

HOW can you even put Bush and Hitler in the same sentence, or compare their "sins?" Or claim that Bush is a "satan"? He is not. He's not perfect, but he hasn't killed millions of people either.
Other than that, to answer your "question", Jesus died to pay the price for EVERYONE'S sins. All they have to do is ask for forgiveness.

Because of sin, we are witnesses of the reality of sin and what it does. That is why God had to die to redeem us and he will come again and save us and rid the universe of sin, sinners and the devil Satan forever.

Before there was sin, no one knew really what it was it was just a bad thing. But sooner or later it would arise and Lucifer initiated it and therefore in God's infinite wisdom sin is allowed to be played out so that the character of God will be seen and that all the warning before was warranted.

Sin will never again rare its ugly head because God will not allow it again and we wont either because we see what it causes.

Even God had to pay for sin by the death of His only son, which was no ordinary death - no man or woman on earth every had that death - he died for the world everybody who died already died for themself.

All humanity is now involved in a great controversy between Christ and Satan regarding the character of God, His law, and His sovereignty over the universe. This conflict originated in heaven when a created being, endowed with freedom of choice, in self-exaltation became Satan, God's adversary, and led into rebellion a portion of the angels. He introduced the spirit of rebellion into this world when he led Adam and Eve into sin. This human sin resulted in the distortion of the image of God in humanity, the disordering of the created world, and its eventual devastation at the time of the worldwide flood. Observed by the whole creation, this world became the arena of the universal conflict, out of which the God of love will ultimately be vindicated. To assist His people in this controversy, Christ sends the Holy Spirit and the loyal angels to guide, protect, and sustain them in the way of salvation. (Rev. 12:4-9; Isa. 14:12-14; Eze. 28:12-18; Gen. 3; Rom. 1:19-32; 5:12-21; 8:19-22; Gen. 6-8; 2 Peter 3:6; 1 Cor. 4:9; Heb. 1:14.)

Yes, He did. He died for ALL mankind. Whether man in turns accepts that gift is up to them. Jesus did say the you would know His followers by their fruits, meaning, their deeds. If they are according to what is stated in the bible then that person is following Christ, if not then they are deceived. As a Canadian I am picking up much anger over your president.

There is only one Satan mentioned in the bible so i dont think that your question is answerable. Secondly Jesus dident die for our crimes but he died for our sins and the sins of everyone.
