Let me propose to you this scenario..?
So:
If a fourteen-year old boy e-mail and told a girl his real feeling towards her and she said she just wanted to be friends, does it 100% mean that she doesn't like him? Or can there be other reasons? Considering that they are STILL 14, I think that the boy has done a huge mistake because it involved a lot of feeling. What do you think?

Be very ashamed! The girl is showing more maturity than you!
You are 14 yrs old and you think that girls nowadays are so gullible in the internet?

The girl probably likes you,OK?,but you are on the wrong venue. You don't propose to a girl on the internet when you are that young, that is stuff for the desperate, people who cant get a relationship because they too shy and old.

Continue to shower her with your wits and care and hold your feelings ,my boy, and when she starts showing somew feelings then invite her over or offer to visit her. Her parents will love you as well.

Some girls get truned-off when you show a lot of emotions in your emails. So my advice, enjoy and wait and see! Wait! is she pretty?:)

I don't think the boy made a mistake at all, he only told her how he felt and that takes guts at that age too......
When a girl says she only wants to be friends it really means she only wants to be friends... he shouldn't push it any further now his feelings are out there in the open she can persue him if she likes down the track but if he pushed it she might not even want to be friends anymore.. So if he really likes her that much he will be happy that she's in his life at all friends are better than not having her in his life at all.....
He is only 14 there is so much more to come in his life....
I'm pretty sure this guy is you so don't lose your heart over this one there are gonna be heaps of girls interested in you in a couple of years give it time sweetie!!!!!
All the best
Ibanez xoxo

Since it was done by e-mail, my own personnal feeling is she
could have said exactly what she felt with no one the wiser. I
think she has some interest is you, but just does not want to
be tied down to one person. She probably would feel embarased
in front of peers being that she is so young to be starting a
relationship with just one person, It would kind of oust her from
her girlriends

it ought to possibly advise that she isn't waiting for that variety of a relation deliver with any boy. She is in elementary words 14, now as she grows there'll be many situations even as she will say to a youthful guy that she only must be pals and that typically interprets to i do not have romantic emotions about you.

I don't think it was a mistake to share your feelings, I think it was very brave and mature. It's ok that she just wants to be friends...it's good to have female friends because they have friends that they can introduce you to in the future...you never know. If you don't let someone know how you feel, then you'll never know what could have been. You did good, man. Don't feel bad about the just friends thing.

Take her at her word.

You've already said it, so you can't take it back. Just go on.
