for more and more people, yes (acc. to the NY times, it's down more than ever), but i think there will ALWAYS be people that value it and take pride in being married.
i don't worry so much for people's desire for the perfect relationship and all their heart's desires, as i do for the children that don't get the stability of a dependable, responsible mother and father, whether they are married or not.

Im married and have been for 12 years, it hasnt always been easy but it is very rewarding. I have 3 beautiful children and my husband is my best friend. How sad to think that people will miss this oppurtunity to have this feeling of being 'complete' and even sadder yet for children to miss out on the stability.
