all dogs can be trained to use a litter box, or specific area in the yard. you have to start them very young and be consistent in where you want them to go. i've worked with disabled ppl who have large dogs who use the toilet. i actually walked in on a great dane in the bathroom, and apologized...lmao. it was a bit strange the first time i saw that one.

i've seen specially made doggie litter boxes. they are much larger than ones for cats though and a little different. i think i'd rather train them to go outside and be housebroken myself though.

my daughter has a friend that has a yorkie that is trained that way,,i think it works better on smaller breeds.
