Will virile men sell their sperm, or will it be harvested like the Falun Gong in China?
Will only the wealthy be able to procreate?
What do you think will happen with the decline in population and the failure of ecosystems all over the world?
Do you think mother nature is finally restoring a balance?
Going to be an interesting century!

I will be sterile.

Of course, I'll be 92. That plus the vasectomy sorta sidelines me from the marketplace, darn it.

That is a theory, a theory more scientist do not take seriously. I mean really anyone can make such a prediction doesn't mean it's true. In the 80's there were many books printed that all said we would do ourselves in and none of us would be here today. Just because it's printed in a book or written on the internet doesn't make it an absolute fact! I can see you are easily influenced and excited by outrageous ideas about the future. My grandmother is 96 years of age and loves to talk about all the things people predicted including scientists. Most of which failed we would all consider laughable now.
Men already sell their sperm to sperm banks on a regular basis as do women sell their eggs. This has been going on for decades now.
I hardly doubt only the wealthy will be allowed to procreate, after all today more of the poor are reproducing than the wealthy. And society has found many ways to deal with the infertility problems of today, including lower sperm counts, women choosing to delay their childrearing years, etc. Science will continue to advance in these areas. After all it doesn't take much sperm to fertilize an egg in a lab dish. We might see more conception through fertility treatments, but science has stepped up to the plate and has taken huge advances in these areas. Men are also learning to be more careful when it comes to protecting their virility. Example; boxers instead of briefs, not placing laptops in their laps, etc. Simple changes in lifestyle can increase sperm production. A male makes sperm his entire life, the new male pill studies show that sperm production isn't limited for over the long term. Over thousands of years fertility has been affected by different things such as famine, weather, and destruction of crops, malnutrition, plagues and disease. It's nothing new.

World population may decline but population has fluctuated over thousands of years as well. We live in a very small world these days and so we aren't as affected by regional changes. With the population of today and the projections of people living healthier and longer/ Are you aware there are more than 70 people worldwide over the age of 115 I really don't think that it's going to be the issue you seem to be hoping for. Sorry to disappoint. Yes there are some theories about population changes but if you look at the history of our world it is constantly changing and adapting. A theory is just that a theory nothing more, nothing less, no one can predict the future with absolute certainty. Many people thought decades ago we would be living like the Jetson's doesn't mean it happened. A lot of these theories are made by people without proper education or research to back up their predictions. Many are made just for 'shock' value. You can't believe everything you read, especially when it pertains to the future.
2060 is hardly a century away, 100 years is a century. Today there are more than 70 people who are more than 115 years of age, that's not a prediction that is a fact!

I've been thinking about similar topic:

arrogance & greediness of those in power > lack of moral and ethics > careless & do little about environment > failure of eco > global warming to the peak> the flood > ice age > restart of human race > Earth started to heal it self > Few survived > Mesopotamian > Cycle repeats...

Who cares about what men will do! That's their problem. At least women can have it done and over with or women won't have to deal with agonizing intercourse that creates agonizing 48 hours of childbirth pain!
