I would go with the pioneer, i have always been a pioneer guy. I have a deh-7600mp and it is bad. its clean, clear and loud. I have pioneer 3 way 4x6's in my doors, pioneer 4 way 6x9's in the back and some nissan dome tweets on my pillars. its crystal clear at 3/4 volume and almost unbearable loud. however it took hours getting those settings right. and this is also listening to heavy metal, which is way harder to reproduce at high volume levels than rap.

You can try them both and see which one you like better. In all honesty its really up to you. Whichever one produces better sound for your ears and whichever is easier for you to use, keep that one.

jvc is distinct in sound and durable but low in bass, poineeer is not so distinct but has good quality bass and is durable too.
