The inverted cross is a symbol of Saint Peter, who when he was being crucified in Rome, requested that he be crucified upside down since he did not consider himself worthy to die in the same manner as his Lord and Savior. Since the Pope is a direct successor to Saint Peter, the symbol of Peter is most appropriate.

A St. Peter's Cross is an inverted Latin cross.
The origin of this symbol comes from belief that St. Peter was crucified upside down, as he felt he was unworthy to be crucified in the same manner that Christ died (upright).
An inverted cross has been the symbol of the Popes ever since.

What's an inverted cross, and whatever it is, why do you think it's against Christianity?
I'm not aware of anything in the Bible, or anything in the writings of the early Christian spiritual fathers, that tells the Pope what kind of cross to have or not to have.

Hahaha yes I do it to my boyfriend sometimes. I try and do both knees at the same time or coordinate a leg dance LOL It's hilarious. Make him look like a totall doofus. :)

wat he is trying to point out julia is that it is a satanic symbol thus the mockery of peter when they hung him on the cross upside down they were mocking his faith in god. but yeah dude you would have to ask the pope why he might have not understood what it ment and just thought that he was honoring st. peter but yeah good question i never noticed it lol

The pope's God is Satan, The entire catholic church is based on pagan beliefs. Burning hell, heaven, idols, trinity, also, they are involved in government affairs, politics and all that has to do with this wicked world, etc...
