It is unjust regardless of what the Bible says. I know when something is good or bad, and I don't need a book to tell me the difference.

A person just CANNOT be punished for the sins of someone else. If this happens, then there is no justice. The christian god is unjust. Never mind scripture. It is so.

For those who say that compared to god we are all sinful, I can only say, that god has no business to compare himself with me.

No it isn't obvious. You are not reading your Bible. Read Romans, I&II Corinthians. It dosen't matter that you don't like it, God is not frightened by your opinion. He remains God, and He remains Soverign, your attitude dosen't matter.

replaced into he incorrect? He replaced into only doing what his fellows were doing on the time -- enhancing the training with techniques from including to them or eliminating from them including his and the different "writings of the fathers." classic Christianity has observed alongside and _some_ denominations are more advantageous susceptible to believe and coach this fake doctrine about one way or the different toddlers inheriting sin each and each and every of the some time previous to Adam and Eve... Sin is a organic prevalence of the fall of guy, so in that regard certain, although the sacrifice of Christ negates that, if one is prepared to settle for and follow his teachings. toddlers are literally not born in sin. they don't comprehend sin. they're somewhat chance free upon entering into the international. If some thing, sex is an act of co-creation with God, to produce the wondrous miracle of yet another human existence. How that act must be conceived to be sinful is previous the scope of a few thing taught interior the scriptures. somewhat the opposite, the scriptures coach the option, that toddlers do not inherent the sins of their mom and father or Adam and Eve. As to sin being _visited_ to the third and fourth era... that couldn't a similar element. that is amazingly troublesome to interrupt out of the mould that your mom and father create and also you learn from them...

This is a true story. It happened to a friend of my mom's.
A pastor was having to stay at a family's house temporarily while a search was being conducted for a decent parsonage for him. One night, he and the wife of the family were debating about original sin. She said that all sinful behavior is learned from the parents, not inherited via original sin. The pastor decided not to argue with her, and let it drop.
One afternoon, the woman's young daughter "Katie", then four years old, stole some cookies from the cookie jar. When confronted about it, she said that her older brother "Steven" had taken them, not her.
The pastor looked at the woman with a small smile, and said that he would have to leave by that evening, and find somewhere else to stay. When asked why, he said he couldn't stay in a house of liars and thieves. He then went on to explain that since all sinful behavior is LEARNED rather than INHERITED, "Katie" must have learned how to lie and steal from her parents, or from her brother.

My point? ALL have sinned, and we are ALL born with sinful natures. In that context, is the concept of original sin very far off?

Not religious myself, but the original sin was not sex, for God told Adam and Eve to have children before the sin took place. The sin was disobeying god by eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge. They could have eaten any fruit but they were mislead by the serpent. Did the serpent speak or was it the voice of Satan using the serpent?!?!?!?!?!?!
Anyway. They were punished and told to leave Eden and the serpent was likely a tree snake, so being told to crawl on it's belly meant it was vulnerable to attack from other species.

The Bible is a metephoric description of what happened. Nobody's gonna die for eating fruit either.

The forbidden fruit=sex.
Snake= lower life form of human
Adam was made in God's image and Eve had sex with a lower life form that she could reproduce with. So actually the death was the human part as Adam and Eve were really super-humans until that point. But when Adam and Eve bred with humans they were turned into human form. Ever notice that the Greek and Roman Gods are naked? That's why.

You won't be punished for somebody elses sins, you'll be punished for you're own. Everything starts with somebody, and it started with Adam and Eve and it has continued on down through time. You may not like the idea of being punished for your sins, but it's all up to you whether you ask for forgiveness for them.

does it say something directly in the bible about original sin? does it say we are all born filled with sin, or does the church say that?
I cannot remember scripture which says we are all sinful ; in fact I remembe scripture where God sought a "good" man and found Noah.
I think the Church devised the concept of original sin for the same reason they sat on the gospels of women, in particular the Gospel of Mary Magdalene; they had to make the Church entirely male; Rome despised women

Yes Concept Of Original Sin is entirly wrong and has been initiated by the Devil (No offence meant).

Everyone is responsible for his/her sins, and it is only good deeds (and belief on One God only and the Day of Judgement) that can take you to the Heaven.

The Bible is the Word of God. If you choose not to believe it, that is up to you.

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Yes, it's unfair. God accepted Adam's repentance because it was sincere
