Interesting question given that CSV stands for comma separated values. So why on earth would you want to separate with semi colons?

Anyway, just save it as normal, then open up the CSV file in Word or WordPad and do a find and replace.

Semi-colons have some makes use of, like turning out to be a member of two self reliant clauses that are no longer proper by employing coordinating conjunctions. as an occasion: Mary likes to stroll to the save; besides the fact that, recently her ft have been hurting her and he or she's been no longer able to do her procuring. those are 2 self reliant clauses (concern and verb) and would desire to stand on their own, yet they're regarding a minimum of one yet another. we've joined them including a semi-colon to reflect that. you additionally can use a semi-colon to connect mutually 2 self reliant clauses that are proper that would desire to apply a conjunction, however the conjunction might lead them to examine long or awkward. Semi-colons are from time to time used to chop up checklist products. My well known meals are cheese; pizza; ice cream; and chocolate chip cookies. (Commas might paintings here high quality; a benefit of a semi-colon may well be once you're itemizing many products or your products are long, so the semi-colon makes differentiating them extra handy.) on your case, you would be able to desire to apply semi-colons to chop up the procuring checklist products, yet you will not would desire to place a semi-colon after products. you're superb that there is a destroy there and that i might propose a colon (:). A colon separate an self reliant clause from a subordinate or based clause. Your checklist products don't have a concern and verb, so as that they contain a based clause. Tess' procuring checklist only had 3 products: pink raspberries, clean, loose-rang eggs, and whipped cream. Semi-colon non-compulsory.
