I don't know this girl very well but she is absolutely *stunning*. I don't know if she harbours any feelings for me, or if she thinks I would not be interested in an 18-year-old, or what she thinks.

Sure, why not, if you don't ask her you'll never know. If you're worried about the age gap, please don't when I was 18 I started going out with a guy who was 33. Now I'm 42 and he's 57 we've been married for 22 years and have 2 wonderful daughters. Age is only a issue if you make it one.

First, that really depends on the individual girl. There are some girls who are ok with the older guy thing, and many who are not. I would venture a guess that the majority would just find it creepy and out of line. However, there are some exceptions, especially if you happen to have dashing good looks and a charming personality. In addition, I am very glad to hear that you are leaving your wife, and I hope you do it as soon as possible, and before you start trying to get with this 18 year old, because your wife does not deserve a husband that's cheating with a kid.

I have always felt that age should not be an issue but you do have to think of the maturity level. She is 18 and you are 31 there is the immaturity factor to think of, not to mention looks are not everything. So she is stunning is that all it is an attraction and if so how do you think she will feel if you ask her out and realize that she is too immature for you and then dump her. Being 18 is hard enough without having someone your age ask you out and then dump you and break your heart. You really need to think of the consequences and do a pro's vs con's on this one. I am sure you will think before you act and will come to the right conclusion. If anything you could ask her out for a coffee and have a conversation with her who knows if may work. Just keep in mind she is young and not as experienced as you are. Best of luck to you.

In all seriousness mate I don't want to get on your shirt tails...BUT!!! U are my age and although you might be attracted to this girl...what will u actually have in commen? She may be stunning and cute but what will u both have to talk about? U can ask her out and she may accept but dont be too disappointed if go out and have a crap time cos u have nothing to talk about! If she rejects u based on your age then I guess u have done the best u can. There are sooo many girls out there! U just may have to look beyond the "stunning" aspect and look a little deeper for compatibility. xxxooo

hmm. toughy. Try not asking her unless she is intrsted. I mean, you dont want her to be freaked of you and she never comes to karate again. If she gives you lots of funny looks and then she might be intrested (unless she is accturly onto you and she knows that you fancey her).

Ask her out dude. The worst that can happen is she'll call you an old pervert freak and deliver a reverse spin kick to your jewels. But you might get lucky. I've gone out with women 20 years my junior and they love the fact that I take a longer time making love to them.

I personally think that if it is an older/younger hookup the younger person should always ask the older person out so that society doesn't get mad. That way you can say, "She asked me out," and that kinda deflates the the "righteous" anger of people who are thinking "that older person is taking advantage of that younger person."

ok there are several factors not working here for you. age of consent? is she jailbait? you need to think about what her father or mother would say or what you would say if a30 yr old wanted to date your 18yr old daughter. does she know karate better than you? if shedoes be ware in case she doesnt ike you and kicks your *** (jokes) and the age factor. age doesnt matter overly if you are in love but think about it. think about this sort of thing a 40 yr old guy asked one of my 16yr old friends out he gave her roses and to make it worse she was working and it freaked her out
