So...You want to join others in being in the "mile high club".
Yes people actually do this and it mostly is done in the restroom. We don't say or do anything until someone on the plane complains.
For the most part, people are very good at hiding it....sneaking into the restroom together, etc.
But just remember, us flight attendants know how to unlock the door in 1 second. Just one thing...DON'T GET CAUGHT!

I'm facing the same problem, only it's 2 flights of 8 + hours and a 12 hour layover in between. I'm bringing a portable DVD player, coloring books, stickers, the favorite stuffed animals, a few new books that haven't been seen before, a foam clock puzzle, and a little tiny watercolor set (from the $1 Target bins). Plus snacks, clothing change, etc. If you're lucky they will sleep... Best wishes!

I haven't done it since the 70's but yes it's possible. As a previous poster mentioned a little strategy regarding loose fitting or easily accessible clothing helps. Sometimes the act of exposing the parts can raise more of a ruckus than the actual act of sex and aircraft bathrooms are really tight places.
Proper seat selection also helps .Ideally you want to be in the last couple of rows of a wide body aircraft with arm rests that go up -not all do -allowing serious snuggling to occur prior to taking the few short steps aft
have fun and watch out for puritans like the one above me

It can be done, but it is illegal. If you have ever heard of "Worst Case Senario" books they list ways that make it easier, such as go to the bathroom one at a time, the girl should wear clothing for "easy access" and if caught one of you should feign illness and the other person is helping.... that being said, this book was published before 9/11, and I couldn't tell you what sort of punishment could be involved... and yes, it does sound thrilling, and fun, but also keep in mind others in the plane who might be sick and it is rude, NOT to mention, others in the plane who have already been sick in that bathroom.... Eeeewwwwww!!!!

Yes but it's kinda... narrow in there:))
It's not illegal, but if they catch u, u might get embarrassed... And try not to keep the toilet occupied more than 15 minutes. and if somebody knocks just say " I'll be right out "
Good luck with a new interesting experience:P

Yes, in fact a research by FAA has shown that on average half the flights in the US have sex on board. In 80% of the cases, it is teens. (It is obvious that adults would not do that)

you can but it's not that great!!
it's very cramped and the chances of getting found out are very high, (but hey thats part of the fun isn't it!!)
also i'm not too sure on the legality of it, is it a public space??
well, whatever floats your boat but remeber to be careful (i'm talking condoms here not just making sure you don't get caught!!)

Don't you think it is too public to do it on the plane??
In the toilet area?? Someone might want to use it badly, you will make them wait or they will disturb you in the middle of................
Anyway, in short it is not proper and too vulgar.
