I have made many good deeds. But I have also made not so good deeds. Because of my not so good deeds my good deeds are not recognised. What should I do?

You do good deeds because it is the right thing to do. You give with love in your heart and not expecting anything in return. You will be blessed for them. Don't worry if people do not see them right now one day people will notice the good in you. Just keep on doing good things. The people you are doing them for appreciate them.

Jesus said` Freely you have been given, so freely give` we should never expect praise or a clap on the back for doing good deeds as all thanksgiving belongs to God,when you do a good deed be humble and when thanked offer this silently to God and move on, remember if you look for recognition of your deeds then you will have had your reward already.

Just continue with the good deeds and eventually they will be recognised, remember people prefer remembering the one bad deed and forgetting all the good deeds that followed

Apparently you have never been in the corporate world where this goes on all the time. Do good deeds because it's the right thing to do, not for the recognition. Hang in there, you will eventually get noticed.

If you are performing good deeds just to get merited for them, your heart isn't in the right place. You should perform them because it is the right thing to do and comes from the heart and not because you expect a reward.

we should not be looking for merits for good deeds ... that in itself brings an element of selfishness which would not bring good karma so to speak
when you are doing good deeds without looking for rewards ... then the rewards will just flow right back to you
its the easiest way i can explain .. hope you understand what i mean xx

This sounds like a merchant trading one thing for another. We should do charity from the heart, doing it for God. then forget about it. we have a right to perform action, but not to the fruit of action, God determines the fruit of action. We shoud do all things as service to God. Karma, actions in thought, word & deed is what creates our life circumstances & our destiny. Choose carefully what you think, say & do.

Jesus will show you the good deeds He wants you to do.
You can also go to www.doersoftheword.org and click on salvation and read. There is a prayer there if you feel ready to give your heart to Jesus.

You should do good deeds because they make you feel good. If they don't make you feel good, you shouldn't do them.
