seeing someone!! i use this alot! i think of it a sleeping with one person but being able to kiss and flirt with others without getting in to trouble. Not sleeping though, that is crossing the line, that is a big rule! it allows me to feel free without feeling lonely, in control without being controlling, but and it is a big but, you have to be able to manage seeing the other person doing it too, you cant just have your own rules. not alot of people understand it but it does depend on wether you want anything serious or not. im a free spirit and expect too much from serious relationships. The second it becomes more talk, but if its only your side that has more feelings, get out!!!x

I would say if you are *seeing someone* you are maybe dating quite regularly and haven't taken the relationship any further. If you are at the next level and sleeping together and making plans togther etc....then I would say you are *with someone*

"Seeing someone" is a casual term. In my mind, a secretive term as well. I am with someone is completely different to 'I am seeing someone'.

I would say its when you first start dating you say you are seeing them as opposed to " I am with them", I wouldnt sleep with some one if i was just seeing them.
