If you guys love each other and sure that you want to marry, then marry her. And she can apply for marriage visa. But if you tell them that you just got married because she needed a visa to stay in UK, even though you got married genuinely because you guys are in love, sometimes they can refuse her application.
If you want to bring her to UK but not sure about marriage, then she can try to get a student visa for example. If you guys have been living together for over 2 years and have documents to prove that, then you can try unmarried partnership visa. If you are engaged already, then you can try to get her fiance visa for her to enter UK, but you have to marry her within 6 months. And after that she'll have to apply for a marriage visa if you guys will stay in UK. But I tell you, fiance and unmarried partnership ones are harder to get than marriage visa.
Anyway, check Home Office and UK visa's sites for more details, and do what you think is most suitable for you guys.
Good luck.

My best friend was in the same situation as you last year. Don't get married as it makes them more suspicious. My friend did and 10 months down the line they are still apart and the relationship is very strained, too many people have jumped on the 'get married ' bandwagon and things take so long. They can see no end to the matter and may not even get a visa at all so they will have to move to the Phillipines or remain apart. Good luck.

if you really love her and she loves you too, why don't the two of you get married? if she wants to be with you for the rest of your life I'm sure she'll come with you.I think the 2 of you know your situations, all you have to do is learn to consider things. But marrying your gf would not guarantee a visa for her. You should talk about the documents she need for her to be with you. You can ask to the British Embassy here in the Philippines(i'm from this country) for more inquiries.

I hope I helped you in your problem in a small way.

May you live happily ever after...

Yup, a fiancee visa and if you do marry then she will have to apply for a spouse visa. Bringing her child over is a completely different issue as she can't apply to bring her child over until she is 'settled' in the UK.

Even getting married to her will not guarantee her a visa for the UK. The Embassy will need to be satisfied that the marriage is not just so you can get her to come and live here. Which to be honest, is what it sounds like to me.

she will be able to get a visitors visa but she will only be able to stay for a limited time and won't be able to claim any benefits.

this would be a good idea so you can see how she likes living here and whether you get on living together

if you still feel the same that would be a better time to get married as you would ahve shown some commitment and the authorities may take a different view.

take a look at the link below and that should give you more info.

You should only marry for love and NOT a visa that isn't even guaranteed anymore. You should speak to the British Embassy in the Phillipines for advice but don't get married unless you know that she is the one and it feels right.

Sadly she would be better off in the Philippines because if you read the question about Enoch Powell, there is likely to be a big stage of ethnic cleansing in the future and you don't want your wife to die do you.

Do you want to marry her? Or help her? Do you love her? Is it the kind of love that comes 1st above all things? What does your heart say?

Imagine yourself in ten years time what do you see? Take Care and think deeply about YOU!!!
