Start by finding out the types of situations that trigger you to drink Coke. Then find ways to avoid those events. If doing that is impractical, at least try replacing Coke with other healthier alternatives, like beverages with less sugar in them. Try to remember that a large cup of Coke equals a heck of a lot of sugar (I forgot the exact figure, but I think it's around 20 teaspoonfulls).

Me too at one time!! Mmmm..... nothing better than cracking open a fresh, crisp, bubbly Coke is there? I would have 1 to 2 cups of coffee in the morning and then it was off to the soda for the rest of the day. I started making sun tea, and only buying one 20 oz. soda at a time, and I'd leave it in the cold until I really really wanted it, as opposed to the 3 12 packs I'd buy a week, and not to forget the stops at Circle K or such when I was out and about. Find another drink that you enjoy, substitute it for the soda until you just can't take it anymore :) and when you do 'pop the top' you will REALLY enjoy the treat.

My sister in law is addicted to coca cola too. Many years ago they tried to wean her off it but she had the most shocking migraines and other health issues that the doctor advised her to just try to cut down instead. She still drinks about 2 litres of coke a day which starts from the moment she wakes up. I have no idea what to suggest after watching her struggle.
Sorry :(

You could switch to the Diet Coke sweetened with Splenda.
As nice as Splenda is, it doesn't work with coke flavoring well.
This will shock your senses into having a coke aversion.
Hopefully.
I'm sure everyone else has suggested drink more water, or calorie free carbonated fruit water, or tea. Those are good ideas.
It's hard to break an addiction like that so good luck, I'm sure you can do it.

Next time you're wanting to grab a can of coke, keep these things in mind
Clean a Toilet Bowl
Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl. Let the real thing sit for one hour, then brush and flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china

Remove Grease from Clothes
Empty a can of Coke into a load of greasy work clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular wash cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains

Remove Rust Spots from Chrome Car Bumpers
Rubbing the bumper with a crumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola will help remove rust spots

Loosen a Rusted Bolt
Applying a cloth soaked in a carbonated soda to the rusted bolt for several minutes.

Clean Corrosion from Car Battery Terminals
Pour a can of carbonated Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion

Relieve Jelly Fish Stings
Coke can also be used to relieve the sting from Jelly Fish. All you have to do is pour the Coke over the sting.

Clean Tile Grout
Pour a can of Coca Cola on the tile. When wiped it up, the grout will be as white as can be!

Have Greener Grass
Spray Coca-Cola on your grass once a month for super green grass which remains greener than other lawns throughout the fall and winter months. Also, for green grass and no bugs, combine: 1 can of coke, 1 cup of ammonia and 1/4 cup of dish soap. Spray on grass once a month.

Get Rid of Bug and Road Film
Got bug guts and road haze on you car windshield? Take a can of warm Coca Cola, shake and spray onto the windshield. Wipe it off and rinse and water, clean as could be!

The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. It's pa is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days.

The distributors of coke have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years.

In many states state troopers keep bottles of Coke syrup in the trunks of their cars to remove blood from the roads or concrete after accidents/crimes.

If you place a T-Bone steak in a bowl of Coke, the steak will be completely dissolved within a couple of days

I don't know about you, but knowing about that makes Coke seem pretty unappealing to me.

Its not the coke, its the caffeine, you might try "No Dose". Coke has about 80mg, where as "No Dose has 200mg". I need caffeine to relax.

Try diluting it with water bit by bit , day by day , till it taste too bland for your liking and eventually reducing your craving for it.
Or you can go cold turkey (^^,)
