Yes, it is pretty stupid by Yahoo. Why having the Philippine site... if it is all in English? Most (if not all) from there use the plain English site. And, as the questions in the Philippine site appear also in the rest of English versions, many hurry to sensor if they don't understand (as... in the know "Oh, God!! they are badtalking me again!").
The same thing goes for the Malay site.

Tagalog isn't spoken in each province in the Philippines , There are 2 important languages spoken and quite some dont understand the two . English is the language that one and all government varieties are revealed in . i might recommend that somebody initiate an internet site including this in Tagalog .

Hi there! We strongly encourage you to post in English so that the rest of the world can also join in and answer your question. Answers is a great place to share and find knowledge from people all over the world - so don't limit yourself by posting in Tagalog or other non-English languages :)
Since Answers is a global product, we want to be sure that we are all communicating in a common language. The reason we have Answers for the Philippines is so that you can ask questions very specific to your country, and be able to find similar questions by using the "Philippines questions only" filter. But remember, there are other people in the world who would also love to share in that knowledge with you :)
Do take a look at our Answers blog comments for more:
