There are different claims on how many strands of hair you can find on
an average head, but the consensus seems to be between
100.000-150.000, some estimates going up to 200.000. Obviously, a
person with hair loss will have dramatically lower numbers than
others.

if you go to blackpool pier there is a machine there that you walk into and it does and reading and tells you
1) how many hairs on your head
2) how much you weigh (to the exact oz)
3)your exact height
4) what your last 4 meals were (that one baffles me but it got it right when i did it!)
5) what your blood type is
the only thing is - is this machine is expensive. £5.00 a pop!!!!!
its very clever though!
