I need some ideas for Christmas for my 33 year old boyfriend. He likes gadgets, cooking, and gardening... I'd like the gift to be somewhat romantic. We've been together for a little over a year. I'm also in my 30's and am not very creative. Any suggestions would be great!

To be perfectly honest....I don't think I would recommend getting him anything very 'romantic'. I am a 34 year man and like most men my age....I prefer pragmatic gifts that I can use and 'play' with. We LOVE romantic gifts but we love to GIVE them, not receive them. It makes us not feel masculine when women buy us romantic things because we are supposed to be the ones doing that, not the girl. Just my advice. Regarding gifts...he sounds like the perfect candidate for a cool PDA, Digital Camera, a really nice set of Global knives (us cooks love em), a big gift certificate from the local plant nursery. I'll keep thinking but stick to his interests. That is where you'll find his love returned to you. Always stick to what a guy is interested in when it comes to gifts and avoid crazy outofknowhere suprise gifts. He is expecting something and you want to be near the target if you want him to really love the gift and you for giving it to him. hope this helped any. good luck and merry xmas

Give him a DVD with a movie you both enjoyed watching together or a CD (with yours favorite romantics songs). If you can spend a little more, give him an iPod with some songs chosen by you for him to think about you while walking back from work and or relaxing during his shower.
My former boyfriend got some files from a singer I have never heard before (Randy Crawford) and because when he heard her songs for the first time made him think about me, he burned a CD with some of hers songs and gave it to me....That was the best present I ever won from a boyfriend, even better the engagement's ring gave me from a fiance.
The best things are found in the most simples things....(that's what they say)....I have learned to agree with this saying.
Good Luck!

JOHNNY WALKER GREEN LABEL IS THE ONLY SINGLE MALT SCOTCH IN THE WORLD, I DON'T THINK HE WOULD BE UPSET ABOUT THAT AS A PRESENT. COST ABOUT $120 IN AUSTRALIA COMPARED TO RED LABEL WHICH COST $32.

Does he have good knives? A good chef's knife is a great investment and he can think of you every time he uses it.
