Not according to my faith. We believe that you must do the following to truly come to Christ:
We believe the first principles and ordinances of the gospel are: First, faith in the Lord, Jesus Christ; Second, repentence; Third, baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; and Fourth, the laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.

John 14:15-31 that's where Jesus promises the Holy Spirit.

Dearest, allow me to shed a bit of truth in your search...Jesus Christ is no one's personal savior...he very much had & has his own agenda, as each of us do. And you have never not had the Holy Spirit, as you call it...it is the essence of your being...the pure love combination of the Godhead.
There is no need to be "saved" from this life, and there is no place else to go except Home when you are done here. Have no fear, listen to your soul sounds, and in your journey take what rings true to them & leave the rest...and always remember that you are a spirit in a human experience, not a human in a spiritual experience...Enjoy the trip, leave happy footprints, live in the love you are.....Peace!

yes it is around and guides them not all will have spiritual gifts that are evidant.
