Find a different job and then date him. Never ever fish off the company pier. When it goes south it sucks. I met the love of my life at work and never let the relationship go past friends. I took another job and when asked why I told her it was to be able to pursue a relationship with her. Great years, but also a great friendship fueled by not immediately going to dating phase.

Wait until you break up with your current boyfriend. If the guy at work ever found out that you tried to go for him while still with your old boyfriend he would never be able to trust you.

Well, to actually go out with a guy at work you would have to leave the building you work in so you would have gone out with him while not at work. That was convoluted. Anyhoo, yes. I've watched The Office, this can only well.

Aint nothing wrong with dating a guy at work. As long as you both know work is work. And can handle that.

Why not wait a month, split up with your current boyfriend , then go for the new one.
If he's decent he'll wait.

No, if things don't work out between you two then you will have to see him every single day as you work with him.
