If one of your neighbors is very noisy at night, what will you do ?...

My neighbors suck..

1) Ring him/her up first if you have the number, say "I know you're probably having a good time (if they are partying)/bad time (if it is a domestic quarrel), but I have an important appointment tomorrow morning and I need to catch a good rest tonight - I will appreciate if you could tone down.

2) If you are bolder, and you think no physical harm will come to you, you can also knock on the door to deliver the message. You may also do this if your phone call is not effective.

3) If they persist with the noise, contact the local police. But be prepared for certain repercussions in days to come, if they turn out to be really bad ***.

4) Failing which, you can do one of the following:
a) place cotton bud in your ears
b) move out from that neighbourhood
c) gang up with other neighbours and pressure the neighbour to pipe down
d) call in an air strike (make sure you don't blow yourself up by reason of proximity)
e) carefully remove your nicely polished Glock and proceed to knock the door and say "hi, I know you're probably having a good time (if they are partying)/bad time (if it is a domestic quarrel), but my "friend" needs a rest, and it gets very jittery if it does not get enough rest" and maybe let off an accidental shot (try not to hurt anyone please)
d) carefully remove your lightsaber, proceed to knock on the door and say about the same thing as (c) above.

I would first go to your neighbors and ask for them to honor a decrease in noise level and a time limit for noise in the evening hours. If this has no affect and your neighbors are noisy beyond the lawful decimal limit then you can notify the police.

First be very careful about starting a war in your own backyard.People can be mean. Why don't you just report them to the police? Tell the police you would like to remain nameless. Good luck
