Islam was the first religion to state the value of equality among people.it never differentiate between people whether they are rich or poor black or white west or east.everybody is considered as same.while visiting Mecca they have to wear two parts of cloth only which is affordable to everybody whether it is king or layman has to follow it .it shows the demand for equality between people.

Its a sign that in the eyes of Allah we are all the same no matter what race or colour, or if you are rick or poor, everyone is the same and it is an awesome feeling standing on the plains of Arafah amidst all these Muslims from all over the world everyone reciting the same Labbaik and making duaa to Allah.

‘Sholam alay kum’
or Islamic greeting in Arabic Assalaamu alai kum
both meaning ‘Peace be on you’.

Actually it just signifies equality, Its just a collection of different pieces of cloth which means that any body can afford it....It makes the person standing next to you seem no different than you are...the basic thing is that everybody blends and nobody is discriminated against which is one of the principal teachings of Islam peace, equality and tolerance...
