I am only fifteen, so in other words, i am broke. I already spent most of my money on my mom, because her birthday is the day after christmas. I have already told my family that their gifts will be coming after christmas (because that is when i will receive what i call "grandma's guilt money", and that is what i usually buy gifts with) But i still have a little money and i wanna get the girls something. Problem is that i just spent some $65 on them for their birthday (Nov. 18). and i don't wanna not get them something because they are little kids that think that i am like the coolest person in the world. So, any ideas???? O yeah, and it has to be something original, because they have a lot of family already that will be getting them some stuff, so it can't be anything like a barbie doll or something

I have an 8 year old daughter, and last year my young sister (who doesn't have much cash) gave her a box of stationery - pens, note pads, scissors, glue, stapler, and some craft materials. My daughter LOVED IT. I think she particularly liked the fact that it was the more 'grown up' type of stationery.
My sister bought the materials at a $2 shop, and the whole lot didn't cost much at all. You can decorate a stationery box for them, which will mean a lot to the little ones and save you money. It's also the type of gift you can give them to share.
Hope this helps. It seems that whatever you give the girls they'll love it because it comes from you (the coolest person in their world!).

They may already have these movies but this is an idea and mom and dad will love the couple of hours they may get to do other things around the house. Buy them a movie each or a couple of movies given to all three. Something they enjoy watching. Like Superman, Spiderman (1, 2, and 3), Cars, Power Rangers, Teenage Mutant Nija Turtles, Batman. Something you know they are into. The best part is that you can make popcorn and watch a movie with them. They will remember the little things like that for ever. Good luck

Maybe not to original but the "Lil Luvables" it is a at home take on build a bear. You can buy the set for about 20.00 at Target (best price I have found). You would only have to buy one since it comes with 3 little bears. Also has the little crank machine that they can take turns using and the stuffing, birth certificate all that kind of stuff. This way each of them can make their own bear. I gave this to a 7 year old girl who loved it.

Give them a "gift certificate" for a spa date with you while they are on Christmas break. Make them on the computer, really pretty, attach a bottle of nail polish if you want to dress it up more. Set up your bedroom, probably the coolest place in the world to 8 year old girls to do their hair, nails and make up for them. Then after they are all fixed up take pictures. This could easily be one of the coolest gifts they get, and the time with you (and their pictures) will be one of their fondest childhood memories!

Get each of them a disposable camera (you can buy a pack of 3 and save money) and an inexpensive small photo album. You can use a paint marker or even a sharpie to write each girl's name on the front of their album. You can find cute photo albums at a dollar store, so the gift is inexpensive, and they will have a blast taking their own pictures throughout the holidays!

Since you need cheap ideas , why not try your local dollar store. You can get many different things and it will look like a lot with not spending much money. They have little pony and coloring books and craft ideas and puzzles. Or you can give them cash like $10 each but give it to them all in $1 and they will think they are rich!

You should take them to a movie or go shopping with them at a dollar store for some cheap goodies. Or you could just spend a day at the park with them and have a picnic lunch together.

They'll enjoy spending time with you more than anything you could buy them.

One gift that they can all share is your best bet.....a puzzle, a board game, craft supplies, a movie, books, play make-up, hair clips and bows, paint by numbers set, stamping kit.....there are some options...Merry Christmas!

8 is a good age for artsy projects. They like to show off what they can do, and be proud of it. Those fuzzy posters you can color with markers are good, because they can't really mess them up, and they make other stuff with that material too, like lampshades, and boxes and stuff.

I would get them a board game... You could get a couple of cheap ones or one medium priced one. It can be a group gift and they can all share it.
