Yes, and if you do domestic waiting child adoption (in the US), it can even be free or very low cost!
You do not have to be married or a homeowner or rich. Just stable and reliable.
Check nacac.org as a starting point. Half a million kids on our country are seeking adoptive homes!

Check some adoption websites, mostly international. They will tell you on the website all the "rules" about their programs.Countries set their own rules but it seems like most prefer the parent to be at least 25.My husband and I are looking into adopting.

Do you have the means to take care of this child because wherever you want to adopt the child they will check all these things. If that is how you feel go ahead and good luck!

so what ?! to grow up a child with out father?! is it fair to do that?! if you cannot handle a guy for your self how can you manage a child?! plz don't do that. marry someone & have you own baby! that better. dont take this chance away from that child you want to adopt to have a complete family. dont think only about yourself . i wish you the best honey!

How can you support a child at 21?? And why would you want to adopt at such a young age anyways?

Then why do you want a kid? You want frustration, financial trouble, and a fashion accessory for 21 more years, if not longer? Do yourself a favor and get a cat or dog instead.

In the USA, however, you must be at least 30 to adopt (at least in some states).

And how would you look after and support a child???
You have experience of kids???
I doubt anyone who is single would be considered a good prospect for adoption...
Better off getting knocked up and looking after your own...
