Well, The MP's are willing to take the neighbor girls witness as proof that my neighbor took my dog out of our yard to mate with his b i t c h. But, they asked, what do I want them to do abut it? T-Bone is unharmed, and due to his nature and the area we live in was never really in any danger (odds are my neighbor meant to put him back, but T-Bone got away).

As a recap, T-Bone is a pittie and my neighbor wanted to breed him to his G. Pyranees. Of course I refused. He was supposed to be at work, so since it was a nice day I left T-Bone in my secured and tested (not padlocked, that isn't allowed) yard, the only way for hime to get out was for a human to open the gate. When I got home T-Bone was running free and later on I was told by a neighbor girl that she saw the other neighbor letting the dogs "play piggy-back".

I am very angry, the evidence is acceptable to the authorities, but what do I want to do about it?

Oh, and before I get flamed for not having him neutered, that is a point of contention between my husband and myself... I will not do it behind his back, and he does not want it done even though I do.

Actually, where I live, T-Bone would not have been blamed as aggressor (in this case), despite his breed. Everyone knows everyone elses business here, everyone knows the temperments of each others animals, and everyone knew what jerko was trying to get me to allow. There are some who want me to take this to the CO and get him kicked off base. There are some who suggested I push for his dog to be taken (I am leery of that because I would be afraid of retaliation against *my* pups, and being so large, she might not be able to be placed in another home around here). I live in Japan.

T-bone is a lovely dog, but, with a Great Pyrenees? !!!
Geeeesh!
this is another argument in your favor about the neutering...but, likely your husband will be a proud grampa...lol

I sure wouldn't know what you can do..If the pups are to be sold, you could require the stud fee (price of one puppy) or you could have the neighbor cited for trespassing..That is what i would likely do..They think it is funny, but they did trespass and steal, and endangered your property..

Didn't you post a question about your dog jumping the fence to visit neighboring dogs??? And your other question where your fence was blown down...????

Your secured AND tested yard wasn't so secured afterall was it? The dog should have been secured INSIDE the house since you knew of your neighbor's intentions and your dog's jumping abilities, with the blown over fence...

So what do you want the MP's to do about your BS stories and UN NEUTERED, blown over fence jumping dog? DUH!

Since you only give partial details of whats really going on...
maybe with all your idle time you'll think of more BS and maybe you can start a new designer breed...Great Pits....

Get REAL and neuter that dog.

If this happened to me, here is what I'd do: first, press tresspass charges. Second, I would sue for a vet exam and also a stud fee.,
Why? Because you said NO and that was purposely disregarded. Also on those grounds, he wanted it bad enough to risk going behind your back, so it must have been worth it to him. So get your stud fee.
Also, make him pay for your dog's vet exam. You don't know if his dog has been properly wormed, vaccinated, or if she could be caring bad bacteria inside her. He possibly risked your dog's health.
And most important, if your dog HAD turned on him during this, depending on which state you live in, he could have sued you! It's an unreal concept--but such things have happened. I know someone whose husky was put down for biting a burglar!
So stand up for yourself, or he might take worse advantage of you someday!

I agree, press charges for trespassing and charge them a hefty stud fee. BTW it doesn't matter if they sell the puppies or even if they have puppies, the stud fee is for the stud service itself, not the results. That's the way it works in dog breeding.

And since he has now been bred, look forward to more of those annoying male behaviors like aggression, leg-lifting, fretting after b itches in season, escaping/wandering etc.

Wow, well what were you planning on them doing about it? do you want the pregnancy terminated (they can do that) do you want your neighbor fined...I mean, yes, what they did was wrong, but do you want to take as far as getting the MP's involved, or do you just want to handle this on your own?? It is something to think about, but you need to calm down first (i know, it'll be hard) because we as people don't usually make very good decisions when we are upset. so just sit down, calm down and discuss all of the possibilities, then come up with your solution. Good Luck!
