My mom went on Vicodin for her broken arm, she weighs 120 lb and takes 1 pill a day... she got over the nausea after 3 days.
What long it will take who you're asking for depends on thie dosage, thier meds, their health, etc. It's impossible to diagnose something like this.

been on pain killer for a long time now due to injurys and from what I know is either the dose is to much for you and you need a smaller dose, taking to close together, empty stomach or have a reaction. If it contintues tell you doctor there are many other types out there.

Yes, Lortabs (used as directed, just as much as you need) are considered safe to use while nursing. Other narcotic pain meds are also acceptable. Only a trace gets into the milk. You can also take OTC pain meds (Advil and tylenol -- asprin is somewhat less safe but can be used if needed). You can also, incidently, drink alcohol while breastfeeding. (But not while taking Lortabs, of course.) Alcohol in moderation (1-2 drinks at a time) is compatable with breastfeeding and will not harm your baby. (Again, only a trace of alcohol gets into the milk.)

This side effect should not be happening. You should talk to the doctor who prescribed the medication and ask for an alternative drug.

Depends on many things...... Did you eat? What type of med is it? Are you allergic to it? How much did you take compared to your weight? How old is it? What else did you take with it?
