Too easy. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. They were accounts of the events told from the perspective of different people that were annointed by God to write them.
Remember to search the scriptures in the bible on your own. Do not rely on websites, other books or sometimes even people or just church alone. You must get in the Word and find out things on your own. I have found some false information on your indicated link just by opening my bible and looking for myself...

The four gospels were written from the perspectives of many different people (and not just the four who were thought to be the authors -- Luke, John, Matthew, Mark). It was work that was passed down through many generations, which is why some stories were repeated in several gospels although not exactly replicated and there are some instances that contradict each other. The stories contained within were inspired by events, people, places, etc., but it is the HUMAN interpretation of divine matters. It is only divinely inspired.
There are more than four gospels that exist, and the Catholic Church is reponsible for choosing which ones reflect the messages that are to be transmitted to the church of believers.

They aren't contradictions. You're getting 4 different view points. Just as if you have 4 witnesses to something, you'll get 4 different answers as to what happened. One person might pick up on or focus on something that the others didn't notice because they were looking at some other aspect of it. Luke was a physician, and being such he was very detail oriented. You'll note his account is very specific and detailed. The four books, when considered together, actually serve to enhance the reader's understanding of what happened.

There were more than 4 Gospels. But, the church only chose those that more fit their needs-what they wanted people to believe, as they made up Christianity.
