I don't want her for fighting, and i want to buy it from someone who knows about her backround. I refuse to get a dog that has already started to be trained to fight ( i think that that is cruel). I already know that i want her to be white with blue eyes and maybe some light brown spots. I am in NC, and i am willing to travel (short distance)

Another question: The legal limit for dogs in my city is supposed to be 3, and i already have four, they are all registered (through my vet) and we keep them in our yard at all times. And they are all male so there is no worry that our yard alone would make more dogs, but seeing that nobody has said anything about us paying an extra fine, is it safe to assume that we are in the clear?

Well, i am taking one of the dogs (and the other one if i can get it) with me when i move out. And i plan on doing that in about two years. (when i go to college [already planned out]), and i don't mind helping my parents pay for my dog. Like when tax time comes, i give them the $40 for my dog, so that's no problem, and i figure that if they haven't noticed us yet, in another two years, we'll still be pretty clear. Besides, two of my dogs are 'inside' dogs anyway.

don't worry, i am not 'pushing it'. Besides, if i were (which i am not) i know of a whole lot of other people that would be going down with me! I will feel like i am 'pushing it' when i have 7 dogs in a place where you can only have 1, until that day comes, i am fine!

As for your first question, you can try my sister's site:
www.ucarerescue.com
On it, they have details for different animals that are able to be adopted. They have a constant stream of pit bulls, because so many states are now regulating the ownership of them.
As for your second question, I don't know. If I were you, I'd place an anonymous call to those who are in charge of such things in order to find out. But I think you're pushing it.

Sorry, you are already pushing the limit so another dog would not be a good thing and might be the straw that breaks the back of the City Administration.
