It seems really hard. One thing I admire about the faith (among many things) is their sincerity to help the poor.

Islam is much more than that. To be a true Muslim, you have to live your life right; help those less fortunate, never lie, steal, cheat, or gossip badly about someone behind their back. To be a true Muslim you should simply strive to be a better, kinder, more generous person every day.

As a Muslim, I feel that Islam is both the easiest and the hardest religion to follow because we're held accountable for everything we do. Do something good and you'll be doubly rewarded, but do something wrong and you'll have to face the consequences (except if you didn't mean it or you repent and are truly sorry, then God will forgive you).

This divine system makes the most sense to me because of its perfect justice. It makes me stop to think before I do anything, and that usually makes me do the right thing.

Sounds like a lot of work.

Christianity is easy! You master the teachings of God and Jesus. Develop your skills as an artisan. Shed yourself of as much of the worldly as you can and walk out into the world with shoes and a coat to serve man and God. You give up your home. You go from door to door spreading the word of God. You ask for what you need. You do two or three or four or five times the work asked of you. When you stop at an old woman's door and ask for water and she tells you how hard it is for her to rake the leaves in the front lawn, you rake, them, package them, do the back yard, cut the grass, trim the hedges and clean the tools.

When confronted and struck on the right cheek, instead of reacting and getting into a fight you offer the left cheek.

You love your enemy the most. Put God above your Mother, Father, Son and Daughter.

You abstain from sex unless married and if you marry you pick one special person, cling to them forever, foresake all others, become one with them, be fruitful and multiply and until death do you part.

You seek no rewards from man and no rewards from God. What you do in life is your reward. You do the best you can. No. that's not enough. You do ten times your best at all times.

Christianity is extremely easy to do! At least it was for Jesus!

You could be explaining a more traditional Judaism, except they only pray 3 times a day, and do not go to Mecca.

It is easy

Praying 5 times a day helps us be punctual

watching what I eat........Cleanliness......well, we are naturally hygenic!!! We don't need to worry

Read and learn... do u know that there is no proverty worse than ignorance. Education helps us be better muslims. Education helped me love my creator better.

Go to Makkah? It is the holiest place. For the pleasure of Him, well, why not??? I go there and see other muslims. It gave me a sense of unity. of Peace.

It's not hard but we are making it hard on our selves. However it does become hard, well thats life, its a test. Whats the point of a test if its easy and simple?

So yes it is hard but tends to become easy again....then hard and this cycle keeps on going.

i think it depends on the individual .but either any muslim finds it hard or easy , Islamic rules are made only for the best of us. Allah/God is the one Who created us, therefore only He knows what's best for us.
