Wash your face with a gentle, oil- and fragrance-free cleanser; preferably a nondetergent one labeled pH balanced.
If you have oily skin all over your face, use a cleanser that contains benzoil peroxide or salicylic acid.
Don't scrub - irritated skin (Evangeline Lilly) swells around the pores, which can cause breakouts.
Skip toner unless your face is very oily, otherwise it might dry out the skin.Apply a topical acne treatment containing benzoyl peroxide, glycolic acid, or salicylic acid over your entire face, not just where blemishes have already erupted.
At night, use a drying spot-treatment product and dab oil-free moisturizer on dry areas.
In the morning, apply an oil-free sunscreen gel over the entire face.

I experience before and it iwas on my nose.I visited the dermatologist or family doc,ask for oral antibiotic, and topical antibiotic.Usually it will "flatten down" the big pimple.Try not to squeeze, because it has no opening, meaning no pus, it will irritate the pimple instead.
You can try putting on lemon juice on it, after a while, it will start to peel abit and soothe the swelling. If theres a big occasion tomorrow, try not to do anything. If you want to make a risk, peel away the dry skin(after lemon juice), and hopefully you can see the opening and squeeze it lightly. After that, clean it properly and apply some manuka honey(prevent infection) on it.(Provided if you are not allergic to honey.)
Wash away.Apply moisturer and pimple cream(Salicylic acid) to it.
Hope it helps!

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html

This sounds like a whitehead and my solution for those is going to make any dermotologist out there scream so cover your ears. I take a fine lancet (the kind diabetics use) to poke a hole in the top layer of skin right in the center of the white dot (only do this once, there is no need to tear a gaping hole). DO NOT SQUEEZE! I then take a warm washcloth and let it set on the area for about 15 minutes. Then and only then do I apply pressure to the surrounding area. DO NOT USE FINGER NAILS OR A LOT OF PRESSUE.
Usually that will break it up enough than gentle pressure will allow it to break up out through the hole.
LIke I said, this will make dermatologists scream. I do not recommend this as breaking the cell wall will cause more active infection and scarring. Do this only as a last resort, there are so many wonderful treatments out there that this is not usually necessary except for the most stubborn spots. Do not ever do this near your eye or your undereye skin. Do not do this if you have cystic acne. NEVER try anything like this is you have cystic acne, see a dermatologist.
Good luck, HTH

Tonight after you've washed your face apply a blob of toothpaste to it as it helps dry it out.
