i have to write a presentation but i don't know what subject to talk about.?

Are you presenting a talk or writing a paper? Pick something you know and or something easy that you can put a new and interesting twist to.

For my university entrance exam I wrote a two page essay on peanut butter. And, while others were staring off into space thinking of a profound subject , I was writing.

It is not so much what you write or talk about as it is that you know the subject, enjoy and exhibit enthusiasm and the reader/listener will be with you sharing the enjoyment.

Or, if you want to go deep? Did Congress forget Pearl Harbor? With the
devastation and destruction, there were only 48 civilian deaths and on Pearl City [jutting out into the harbor] there was only one civilian death.
Honolulu, wide open, with a population of 200, 000, was left untouched.

Yet, from 3/20 to 4/5/03, cluster bombs and missiles were fired into Baghdad's non-military neighborhoods. In those two weeks, the team of nine talked to hospital staffs and families and documented approximately 200 civilian deaths. Two of the team lost their lives in the documentation process.

The easiest subject to present, is something you know and/or have experienced.

Great records in The guiness book of records.
