Turkey is not muslim country. Turkey is Laic country. Turkey is 4th biggest alcohol market in the world also Turkish ppl like alcolic drinks. Rakı is traditional Turkish alcoholic drink produced by %45 alchol and be sure u cant drink

Turkey is a democratic and secular republic. People are free to live their religion the way they want. Although 97% of its population is Muslim, most of them do not practise Islam in their everyday life.

Turkey might be like Lebanon, predominantly Muslim but not an Islamic republic. Not sure, though.
