as the report came out this morning at 245 on cnn... i'm still reading it and understanding it more since its only been out foor 15 mins but, does "It's clear the Iraqi government will need U.S. assistance for some time to come, especially in carrying out new security responsibilities. Yet the U.S. must not make open-ended commitments to keep large numbers of troops deployed in Iraq." mean that we are going to just leave iraq a total mess?? and does that mean they will be a less total of troops in iraq?

Loss? I am a Soldier and have never lost. We have won every conflict weve been in. The politicians lost it for us. We did our job and then the politics began. one day were heroes one day were murders. CNN? ~!#@~! CNN might as well say AL Jazeera. They hate us almost as much as the radicals. Im so disgusted with the whole damn lot Govt, media, whiney *** spoiled do nothings that want everything because its their right yet have done not A damn thing to ensure or earn that right.

With the Shia population being the majority in Iraq, Iraq was and will always be a "mess" as far as random violence is concerned. Sunni's and Shites are mortal enemies. That is not our job there. Does anyone remember that we went there because we were told the Gangster Sadam had WMD's? What's happening now is not our fault, the best we can hope for is that it doesn't become a little brother nation to Iran although that is an unfortunate possibility.

The best thing for the US to do now, as far as morality is concerned, is to leave Iraq.
