The Trinity can be seen through out the Bible . They are three in one and nothing can change that.

It isn't. There are a number of Catholic and Protestant sources that openly admit that the trinity is not a part of the Bible. For instance:

The Encyclopedia of Religion says: "Theologians agree that the New Testament does not contain an explicit doctrine of the Trinity."

Jesuit Edmond Fortman states: "The New Testament writers . . . give us no formal or formulated doctrine of the Trinity, no explicit teaching that in one God there are three co-equal divine persons. . . . Nowhere do we find any trinitarian doctrine of three distinct subjects of divine life and activity in the same Godhead."

The New Encyclopædia Britannica observes: "Neither the word Trinity nor the explicit doctrine appears in the New Testament."

Bernhard Lohse says in A Short History of Christian Doctrine: "As far as the New Testament is concerned, one does not find in it an actual doctrine of the Trinity."

The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology similarly states: "The N[ew] T[estament] does not contain the developed doctrine of the Trinity. 'The Bible lacks the express declaration that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are of equal essence' [said Protestant theologian Karl Barth]."

Yale University professor E. Washburn Hopkins affirmed: "To Jesus and Paul the doctrine of the trinity was apparently unknown; . . . they say nothing about it."—Origin and Evolution of Religion.

Historian Arthur Weigall notes: "Jesus Christ never mentioned such a phenomenon, and nowhere in the New Testament does the word 'Trinity' appear. The idea was only adopted by the Church three hundred years after the death of our Lord."—The Paganism in Our Christianity.

The canon of 27 inspired books of the Christian Greek Scriptures provide any clear teaching of the Trinity.

There is no Bible verse that says God is made up of 3 co-equal, co-eternal persons. Go ahead and look. You won't find it.

Does "let us make man in our own image" signify a trinitarian God? I think it signifies that there was more than just God around at the time man was made. Angels were created before man and they assisted God in various aspects of creation. That's why "the Word" who was with God in heaven was considered a "master worker" with God. (See Proverbs 8:30) As for Jesus' baptism, if you read Matthew 3:17 it actually support the view that Jesus is NOT God, but is, in fact, his son. It says, "Look! Also, there was a voice from the heavens that said: "This is my SON, the beloved, whom I have approved." There are MANY Bible verses that support Jesus as being God's son. In fact, he himself said it numerous times. I think you were referring to others being baptized in the name of the Father, Son and the holy spirit. If so, can you cite scriptures where there are other instances of the three being mentioned together? I don't recall any off the top of my head at the moment, so I'd be interested in knowing what you can come up with. And further, in many scriptures the holy spirit is identified as a force rather than a person. Wouldn't it be logical and reasonable to reach a conclusion based on what multiple scriptures say as opposed to what just one that doesn't specifically state that the three are a trinitarian God?

you might be interested in my research.

Case for a trinity
(Please remember that the texts when you go further back will have different translations because the church was run by the state who had an agenda, the changes were necessary for the truth…)

Genesis 1:26

This would not be a reference to the angels… (I understand that some people believe that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are God’s in their own right but as this discussion goes on it shall be very evident that they are triune.)

John 1 – The whole of the chapter.

Particularly verse 3+4 (but you need the whole chapter in context. God needs Jesus there to create. Jesus brought life (Jn 14:6) and Jhn 1:7 light – Jesus is referred to as light.

1 Cor 8:6 One God – the Father and Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrew 1 + 2 (whole chapter) – Jesus through whom He created the universe…

Matt 28:19 ; God is a jealous God, 2 Co 11:2; Ex 20:5; Ex 34:14; Dt4:24 (why would he says those things and then encourage us to worship two other deities?)

John 14:26; 15:26 (Concerning the Holy Spirit)

In Isaiah the prophecy concerning Jesus’ name is Isa 9:6 – Wonderful, Counselor, Almighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

2 Peter 1:1-2

Rev 1:8; Revelation 22:12-17 (again referrer to John 1; Gen 1:26; Who is returning???)
Jesus who was (Jesus who died), who is (Jesus who is seated at the right hand of God (could he be the right arm?), who is to come (Jesus who is coming to take us to Heaven) Ref: John 1:1 -3 (Oh no are there three Jesus’?)

Isaiah 51:9-11

Isaiah 53 – Prophecy of Jesus
-Arm of the Lord revealed (connected implication)

Romans 10:9 – Through Jesus we are saved, Hebrews 11 – Faith in God was how the Old testament people were saved, now it is the same in the name of Jesus…

Just to throw it out there

Romans 3:22 -26

(TRY NIV, NKJ, CEV, Young’s literal translation, Darby Translation)

Understanding the concept "Trinity in Christianity and Hinduism" -

In the Trinity concept of Christianity... the existence of an Almighty God the Holy Father, Jesus as the son of God and a holy spirit forms part of the trinity. The existence of three independent entities forms the core teachings of Bible.

In Hinduism... the concept of Advaita Vedanta is the foremost and most believed upon. Bhagavad Gita (the most sacred scripture of Hinduism), the doctrine put forward by Lord Krishna in the battlefield of Mahabharata also confirms the existence of one and only God.

Hinduism also believes that God Almighty has three free facets to life... the creative attribute of Almighty God known as Brahma, Bhagwan Vishnu the preserver and Lord Shiva as the maintainer. It is Lord Shiva who has control over life and death of the body. This aspect of God is never referred as trinity in Hinduism. More on trinity here- http://www.godrealized.org/jesus_christ.html

Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of Him (God the Father) who raised Jesus (God the Son) dwells in you, He (God the Father) who raised Christ (God the Son) from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit (God the Holy Spirit) who dwells in you. Here is one scripture where the three members, (the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) of the Godhead are mentioned. No Trinity?

What makes you think that is from the Idea of a trinity. They believed that God was not divisable. They also believed that there were other Gods, Just that their God was the biggest and strongest God on the street! The Bible talks of God defeating other Gods in Exodus and Joshua.

The bible also says that bats are birds, that humans lived up to 800 years, that a man lost his strength simply because of a haircut, that a whale swallowed a man then let him go, unharmed, that a mortal man walked across the surface of the earth, that another mortal man divided a sea ..... all things that defy science in every shape and form ... and yet you want to use it to prove existence of anything?

Time to up your meds ..
