My question is regarding acne scaring and if neosporin works to reduce scaring even after the wound has healed.

Yes, it will work. But your BEST bet is Vitamin E gel caps after you have healed. Snip one end off of the Cap, squeeze onto the scar area and rub in the thick Vitamin E liquid well. It really works wonders for scars and to repair the skin around the scars. Good Luck and Merry Christmas Your Way, Sherry

Hey everyone,

I can't post my images on this message board for some reason, but you can see them all at www.Acne.Org/messageboard

please click on the link, then go to the message board "over the counter products".

I posted my story for the first time on june 11, 2005, and I have already had 10,000 hits on just that one thread.

Neosporin cream is a new product and it really cured my acne. It's also working for so many other people too. You have to see the photos to believe it-they tell the story much better than I can!

Please see my story-you will want to try this if you're like me-i've tried everything and nothing worked except for this.

Send me an email if you guys have any questions-

jessicastuart24@aol.Com. Either that or leave me a post here. Thanks so much for checking this out! I'm trying to get the word out because this stuff has literally changed my life, and I know it works for almost everybody who tries it.

Jess

It can aid new tissue formation till the wound is healed.
Try vitamin e oil, it keeps having an effect even after the new skin has grown in.

My doctor recommended using Vitamin E. You get the capsules and cut them open and put the liquid Vit. E. on the scar.
There are also things you can buy, one of them being Mederma.

No, neosporin kills bacteria. What you want is cream specifically made for reducing scars.

No, it will not help old scars. You have to put it on a fresh cut and it will help the cut to heal without scarring.

mederma is the best, but a little costly.
if you cant afford it, go get some cocoa butter!
it does wonders!!!!
most pregnant women use it for stretch marks!
