Party pants (the flowy ones) or a dress. No florals. You can never go wrong with a basic black dress. For the holidays, you can splash it up with jewel tones... red, green, sapphire blue, gold, silver. Add them either in your dress color or in a jacket... you have a lot of wiggle room at Christmas time. Keep it classy and elegant, not too over the top. A pant suit would not be good unless it's the flowy party pants. Jewelry is a must. Doesn't have to be real. Costume is fine.

Oh Whoa!!! NO GOLF CLOTHES!

NOT GOLF CLOTHES!!! Generally golf clubs have a dress codes! I would say for a X-mas party with no dinner it is smart casual. (Don't wear jeans)

wear golf clothes if you are playing. If it is at the clubhouse, then go for party casual (ie., nice pant or skirt with a silk blouse)

wear khakis and a nice top but if your golfing and its windy you obviously wouldn't want to wear a skirt but if its inside a skirt or nice khakis would be good
