I read this in one of those natural food store health magazines. It claimed that HMO doctors (basically every doctor in my town!) makes roughly $7.50 on each patient they see each day. If that is true no wonder they only spend about 5 mintues with you and some of them rush you out the door. They can't afford to stay with you any longer. I kind of doubted this because of all the docs I see driving BMW's and Jaguars around here. I do have a lot of respect for doctors though.

That isn't true at all! The patient writes them a check of about 10 dollars usually, and then the patient's insurance pays the doctor even more!

I'm not sure how much doctor's make, but I do know most people GREATLY exaggerate how much they do make.
