Assuming a USA penny (post 1985 zinc-clad), 60Hz, 117VAC, and that the rest of the curcuit can handle the load.

the circuit will carry as much as it needs. a circuit breaker doesnt restrict the flow of current, it just shuts it off when the current exceeds the rating of the breaker. So if the circuit is not overloaded then the breaker does nothing. if you put a penny in place of the breaker, the current will not change. if the circuit IS overloaded and you put a penny in place, call the fire dept. you are going to need them!

That is the domestic USA supply,, if the penny will fit exactly to ur fuse compt., then it will work,, the only risk is that u will defeat ur safety system due to o/c, s/c, etc...
Ampacity will have no probs with the penny...
Only for emergency use, till u get urgent s.o.s.

Never replace a fuse with a penny! It could cause a fire.

That depends not on the penny.
It depends on the gear to be used.
But never replace the fuse, it is dangerous.

all of it. the circuit will fail somewhere else rather than at the fuse as it was designed.
