Are you asking for what he means or what our opinions are?
My take on that is that when a woman looks old [or thinks she looks old], then she feels old and will be old. But a man doesn't give his appearance much thought; he doesn't feel old until he loses his sex drive.
I think this is sad, especially for women, but true.
