his girlfriend is really awesome and is such agood person, but this is a weird situation, ok, she has a daughter from a former relationship and we all grew up together in california so know each other very well. Well, he became very abusive so somtimes she would come stay w/ us and we all been there for her. Well my brother was there for her obviously a little more than I was and they became more then friends she became pregnant and I moved to Arizona and moth later they followed , well they have been her for the whole part of her pregnancy and I KNOW she has been loyal to him and they treat each other well. I know this because I am her best friend and Im always or on the phone w/ her. Well Im draggin this out , but this is my question. There new baby has a dimple on her cheek and one near her mouth just like her older sister and her x- boyfriend. I dont think its my brothers baby and Im not the only one that has noticed this. I know she didnt cheat but they did become involved too so

They became involved too soon after the breakup and could have already been pregnant . Do you think my bro is too excited to notice or should someone say something or let it be? Either way I still love them , and dont think badly since they BOTH becam involved and nobody cheated.

Takes more than genes to be a dad. If they are happy, the rest doesn't matter.

If your brother loves this baby and is going to be its father then leave it alone. A baby needs a father and all that matters is love not biology. Obviously the ex will not be a good father and does not need to be in the baby's life. And your suspicions could be completely false and if you say anything your brother could end up hating you. Lots of baby's don't look like the father at first. And you said all you are going by is the dimples which her sister also has? Wait and see if the baby does not grow to look more like your brother. In the mean time stay out of it and consider that you may be jealous and trying to cause a rift between your brother and his girlfriend so you can have her all to yourself. Look into your own heart and keep your mouth shut.

To what purpose do you want to upset their happiness Hon? If your brothers g/f suspects anything in regards to the baby, it is for her to tell your brother and anyone else affected, not you. Don't spoil the relationship with you and them with speculation. They are happy together, you love them, they love each other and the baby. Let them be. Besides, my Mom has auburn hair, my dad and both sisters have pitch black hair, and I am as blond as they come. The postman perhaps??? No. My moms youngest sister is blond. It's called genes. Sometimes genes skips a generation or two, and comes out in our children or grandchildren. You say your brothers g/f has a sister with the same dimple. It is probably a gene from her side of the family, and nothing to do with the X b/f. Imagine if you accuse her of something, or say something, and you are wrong! Leave it alone. Time will tell, and in the end, does it really matter? Love them and be happy for them - life is too short to let the small stuff get in the way!

Now it could be possible that this is her ex's baby but how ever it could be your brothers she could have some one along her family that has those dimples too or she could have gotten the opposite jeans as both her parents in that department maybe you should talk to her and your brother stop being so scared to ask.

Dimples are not necessarily genetic. I'm sure your brother knows how to count backwards 9 months. Maybe it just doesn't matter to him. Just be happy for them and don't worry about it.

talk to them. its the best thing you can do for anyone. your brother and his girlfriend shouldnt have to be thinking its "theirs" if it isnt. and they may never know unless you have them get blood tests.
