None, the best is to take care of all the debt yourself. That way you learn new behavior to keep you out of debt in the future. Check out snowball plan in the link below. It helped me out of debt, and i am living much better, and happier.

Most definitely do a debt consolidation because once you do a bankruptcy, you have at least 7 years before you can get anymore good credit. At least with debt consolidation you can start over without having to pay lawyer fees, getting deeper in debt, and then screwing yourself over by giving yourself even more messed up credit with a bankruptcy. Talk to your nearest loan officer at your bank, or find out what your options could be at a different bank. Anything but bankruptcy; you will regret that later.

None of these help to clean up your credit, just your debt load. BKs stay on credit for 10 years, consolidation for 7 years. Generally the Ch 7 is considered worst as you walked away from the problem altogether...but none of the three is really a way to improve your credit situation and should only be used as last resorts

CCC is the best. They work with lenders to get better terms and the lenders agree not to whack your credit score if you are working with CCC. They make it tough but doable and can even get debt lowered if you really can't pay it back.
