I am making a flamethrower out of an old waterpick machine. i was planning on putting some sort of fuel (not petrol) into it and turning it on. there is a candle at the end which will be lite when i do try it. the water pick shoots about 15+ feet. thanks

Ever hear of the Darwin Awards? You should check it out before lighting uup the candle. google the website.

Most flame flowers have a constant supply of fuel....so it stays lit....then when you actually shoot it. It ignites...same princple with the canlde i guess.
Depends how fast it shoots out.
Might just blow out the candle......you can technically put out a fire with gasoline.
