i do believe tequila is a narcotic, espically blue aguave, i once spent the night in the everglades, drinking T , thinking i was a great explorer, the glades tore me up, the skeeders bit and nipped my skin, my face ate by bugs, I did not feel a thing, the T gave me courage, to face the daylight...........
Day came, and i wondered, was this a dream?
yes they are vivid, and i know why, because,,....dreams are real!!

Dreaming about snakes in general has always been a symbol of healing. The dream of a snake would mean that if you have a sickness, you will be getting better. But that is not the only thing that it means in modern times. Today we see the snake as a symbol of change. Like the snake sheds it's skin so that it can grow, we need to shed something in our lives so that we can grow into something better, bigger.. The fact that it is a cobra and the other snakes are not befriending you but attacking you and the cobra is your protector would change the mean just a little. The cobra could be a tie to India or it's religion, maybe a person that you associate with those, etc.. it could mean that you feel safe there in want ever tie you have to it. But that your fears of what is to come if you leave that security are keeping you from growing and achieving your goals. It doesn't mean that your going to do better if you break free of that security, it just means that you subconsciously think that you need to spread your wings a fly!!!!! There is more possibilities, not knowing you, nor being able to ask you questions kind of limits how things are interpreted.

Yes, just awoke from one after a night with some 1800 tequila. Not enough tequila to be intoxicated because that wouldn't have resulted in anything outside of black out. Wish I could even begin to clearly articulate the dream... Something like being at Burningman where the night never ends, while on an acid trip.

People, Tequila does NOT have a worm, that is Mezcal (simmilar, but not the same). And that is only done sometimes as a marketing gig. If your shot of Tequila has a worm in it, then review the list of people angry at you.
Anyway, I don't know any of the science behind the dreams, but I do know some of the myths. Anyone saying there are alkaloids in it (like what's in peyote) is wrong.

Jes youre only half right, all tequila IS mezcal, but not all mezcal is tequila
YES some tequilas do have the 'worm' (not many i should add, which was just a marketing gimick) but the worm is actually the larva of the moth that lives on the agave plant
anyways, how the **** do you dream on tequila? i pound a 40 of that back, i dont remember half the last night, nevermind what i was dreaming

Tequila is not a narcotic. You may be sensitive to something in the drink. I cannot drink the stuff because it just makes me feel so horrible the next day.

It's actually pretty interesting that you dream at all when you're intoxicated. Despite the fact that alcohol is a depressant, it actually inhibits your ability to get into REM sleep (the stage of sleep where you dream).
When I've tied one on, I don't dream at all. I just have boneless baby sleep; it's quite nice really.

No you don't unless you are really, really intoxicated amigo.
Alcohol is a depressant, makes you fall asleep and lethargic, fast. But then again we are all different, you might react different than me. Me, I feel HAPPY!
