What woman sits on the seat without looking at it first (or am I weird)? Why don't guys insist that women leave it up?

I agree with him. It can be difficult to aim it into the bowl without some splashing on the side. There is more to it than you realize.

I don't know about other women, but I like the toilet LID down. This is because leaving the lid up causes the smell from the toilet (yes, smell lingers even after you flush) to travel into the bathroom, possibly even to the rest of the house if you leave the bathroom door open. Leaving the toilet lid down keeps that smell in the toilet itself. I also own dogs who will drink out of the toilet (I can't tell here how many diseases they could get from that) if I or my husband leaves the lid up.

I don't always look 1st, especially when I stagger into the restroom at 3 in the morning. I'd be very upset if my butt hit the cold water. It's a place to dispose waste why is it people think that nasty stuff should be exposed in the open? I don't get it. Guys pee all over the rim, I don't want to see it. Seat is down in my home.

I don't get mad at it, but it is a cleanliness thing for me. I put both seat and cover down, then both of us have to touch the seat before we go, then it is equal. Also, have you see the sort of things that are spread as airborne particles when you flush with the seat and cover up? It would make your eyes water!

i do no longer choose it up, i'm a pointy shooter and perfect marksman... And on the uncommon cases i pass over (very infrequently), i sparkling it up with anti-bacterial wipes, and make useful it quite is appropriate returned... no longer no longer ordinary to shoot right into a hoop fellas... As for falling in, i presumed women human beings have been extra observant than adult males... I recommend, easily you will locate its up ideal... No excuses on the two sexes edge, the two could pay interest

I don't get mad, but the reason is because if we don't notice, and still sit on the toilet...we fall in, and it's not fun!

The rule in my house is put both lids down-so toilet water isn't sprayed all over my toothbrush and towels!
In someone else's house I leave it how I found it.
My stepfather was visiting me with my mom and he took a big dump,left the lid up AND left streaks in the bowl (ewww!)
How rude is that? I threw away my toothbrush and washed all the towels with bleach!

all you have to do is fall in... in the middle of the nite when you have to go... and you don't want to fully wake up... so you don't turn on the lights...
