The devil will never "rule" hell. He will be down there suffering endlessly, in torment. He won't be comfortable, in the least bit. He won't "run" hell, either. Jesus Christ holds the keys to hell, which is what God created for the devil and his demons to spend eternity, suffering, as well as unsaved/lost souls.

Isn't it silly that so many people, most likely Non-Christians, assume that the devil "rules" hell? God rules all creation, the earth, Heaven, and Hell.

better to rule in hell than serve in heaven...
and how the hell would you know what goes on there?
There's a big, raucous party going on 24-7 there, with all the sex, drugs, and rock&roll anyone could ever want.
We certainly dont want the likes of you there. Go to heaven!
Praise Satan the powerful - bound by nothing - capable of anything!

The whole definition of hell is wrong according to the Bible and you seem to be misinformed as well. The Bible says that hell will be destroyed in the lake of fire (the second death). It also says at Jeremiah 7:31 that God would never even think to burn children alive in fire. Satan was cast down to earth and the Bible says, "Woe to the earth". It does not say anything about Satan being cast down to hell.

People think that cause he wanted the God's praise. So when he was cast out and others followed him people assume he is ruling over them. The non-believers probably do not care that God is in control of everything or they would be saved. Only my opinion of course.

In the name of God most gracious most graceful

Satan has gained mastery over them, and has made them forget the remembrance of Allah. They are Satan's party. Now, surely, it is Satan's party that are the losers.

And when the matter is decided, Satan will say, 'Allah promised you a promise of truth, But I promised you and failed you. I had no power over you, except that I called you and you obeyed me. So blame me not, but blame your ownselves. I cannot succour you nor can you succour me. I have already disclaimed your associating me with Allah. For the wrongdoers there shall, surely, be a grievous punishment.'

I guess that's how Satan recruits those gullibles who worship him and hope to share in his "glory" (or solitary). Jesus Christ calls it the outer darkness, where everyone is in the darkness separated from God weeping and gnashing their teeth for what they can no longer face, past the point of redemption.

He is the prince and principality of the air. He rules those who do not know Christ.
