Any one knows the origin why blond and lawyer jokes are so popular?
There might also priest jokes, but I don't want to discuss it because of religius respect

I don't know about lawyers, but a friend of mine recently did a speech on blond stereotypes. (she is verrrrry blond) and she found that back in Victorian times, It was considered undesirable for a women to be intelligent, but all the men wanted pretty stupid women. So, the women would pretend to be naive. Because Blonds were often found to be very attractive, they had to work extra hard making sure they looked dumb. And that stereotype that they worked so hard to get, ended up following them even after it wasn't desirable anymore. Not sure how true that is, but that's what her research showed.

Blond jokes probably bc girls don't like other girls that get action, and lawyer jokes, because we live in a litigious society, and most people pick them as a target.

The oldest wheeze I know holds that there are so many lawyer jokes, largely because of the 99% of them who give the rest of em such a bad name. But I hear that the number of blond jokes is actually beginning to tail off now. Seems that liberals, and their latest iteration, Progressives, are simply refusing to tell blond jokes these days, what with Hillary Clinton running for President!

Years ago I worked in the legal field. Slowly, I began to recognize what a bunch of creeps the lawyers were - and OMG, I was becoming like them!!

I even have seen a lot of variations of this comparable comedian tale, i don't know who ameliorations the characters or why because of the fact the comedian tale does not substitute, it replaced into humorous while first examine, after that its old hat.................

because they are very stereotypical. ppl think they know eevryting about them and the jokes r based on common stereotpyes, so... why not?!
