I wouldn't be too worried as long as she didn't breastfeed or somehow mix her blood w/ the baby's blood. For peace of mind, I would go ahead and get a test for the baby, but I don't think there will be a problem.

No Dear it doesn't matter that she is infected from Aids. Becoz aids never spread from touching, caring, by towel or by using other thing.Aids spread only fluid like Blood, saliva. It spreads only with sexual relation, or using infected blood of infected person, using infected needles of patient. Otherwise there is no tension that your baby sitter is aids infected. It has more chance of aids to infected mother to her kid or by feeding ( Mother's milk)
Wish u all the best, may be this information is sufficient for u & help a little.

Hi there - I hope by former that you didn't fire her because she has AIDS.
But seriously NO i shouldn't think you need to be worried, but if you are take your little one along for a blood test.
I have been through this myself. A very close relative was diagnosed when my daughter was 1. My little one had spent so much time with this relative that I freaked.
My doctor told me to calm down and not panic as the chances of my child being infected were very very rare. My little one was tested and she was negative.
Today she and my relative are as close and ever and we all treasure what little time our relative has left.

NO...it cannot be spread by kisses or hugging or anything.
The only way it is spread is through sexual intercourse or sharing of needles or blood and i'm sure she didn't do any of these with your young son, if you are still worried do some research on the internet
....my prayers are with her

Unless she was breast feeding him you have nothing to worry about. I lived with my aunt and cousin and we shared food, drinks, etc. This was before they found out they were HIV positive. I knew in my mind that I was not at risk but I got tested just for the peace of mind. Do it for yourself if nothing else.
