if i fight a ticket and i am found guilty.
do they increase a penalty charge on the summons?

The cop might not even show, you go free, as they dismiss the ticket. Or you can ask them to take the ticket under advisement, meaning you don't get in to trouble for 6 mos. all is forgotten. I have done both.

Hi there - Yes they do increase the penalty charge and you will also incur the court's costs for both sides.

Make sure you have a strong case cause if you don't you wont win and it will cost you a fortune. Been there and it cost me heaps.

There might be some court costs added, but the fine remains the same. Even if you are found not guilty, expect to pay the court costs.

No. But ask if the Judge will keep it off your record.

And no they don't tack on court fees, the court fees are already included in the price of the ticket.

No but they do tack on court fees if you are or are not found guilty...but in any case you should pay the fees and ticket in pennies .

As long as you show up when your supposed to, no. You are not fined or penalized for trying to prove your innocence. That's what the system was designed to do.

no u pay what the ticket is for and they hit you with court fee's and yada yada yada charges.

no....whatever the fine is....is what it will be regardless of whether you go to court or not.
