Hare Krishna monks (like Buddhist) monks shave their head except for a small section of the back of the skull where they allow the hair to grow (sometimes to a ponytail length), and it's called a Sikha (seekah).
The sikha signifies one-pointed focus on a spiritual goal, and devotion to the gods Brahma or Vishnu.
