You have tried. I have rejected your instruction. Kindly shake the dust from your feet and walk away as your so-called messiah commanded you.

I hereby decree that we as atheists do not need... nay.. WANT your offers of salvation.
How do I know that your god is the right one for me? What if I accept your god to find out that at judgement, I had wasted all that time worshipping the wrong god and going to hell anyway?
And if your god is the right one -- which religion of the Abrahamic god must I follow? Judaism, Islam or Christianity? Which one is the right one? After all, they all worship the same god.. one of them has to be the right one (of the three).
Finally, if there is a judgement day, and I'm up in front of god I will condemn you all and say you did not try hard enough to save me..
Misery loves company!

As much as I'd love to have Christians stop preaching, I think it's implicit in the dogma that people who have yet to be saved lack the mental competency to sign away their need to be saved so to speak. It's like trusting a 12 year old with a gun; you can't just ask them if they'll be okay with it and then leave them to it. So any pacts of "Okay sure, I won't blame you" don't really extend to God. So unfortunately, you Christians will just have to keep on preaching, because God doesn't listen to reason. Or the dogma sugguests so anyway.

There is a verse in the Bible that says that we Christians are suppose to spread the word of the Gospel of Jesus, but if a person rejects it we are to try again, but once they say no we are not suppose to bother them with it again. If any are putting bad and rude answers here they are rejecting. This is enough so we will not be held responsible.

on the day of Judgment--they will not hold us in any way shape or form... their knee will bow and their mouths will confess that Jesus is Lord... Rather they like it or NOT... they will still realize their mistake... however, it will be too late--i believe that most unbelievers who find themselves in that situation will accept thier fate because they will realize then what they have done... they will look at Jesus and bow their knee to him... even those who hated Jesus will bow down before him...Those who murdered him had their chance then they will have been cut off from the tree of life and burned in the lake of fire.
Yes, there is obvious data to back up the "Does God Exist" theory... which in my openion is no longer theory if you really think about it...go do some research--please those above look at both sides before comming up with a left wing biased oppenion on this subject...
We are CALLED to spread good news to unbelievers threw the GREAT COMMISSION... GO UNTO THE WORLD PREACHING THE GOSPLE... look at the last chapter of Matthew...
There is way too much to talk about on this subject to keep it short however, I did my best...
Thank you,
John....

There's nothing wrong with talking to us about the joy you've found in Christ, but being pushy about it, expecting results, repeatedly bugging us about it after we've told you to drop it, etc. . . . there's a point at which it becomes disrespectful.
Remember that I have as much right to try and get you to believe what I believe because I feel that you are missing the big picture (reality).
Please also keep in mind that as much effort and love that you've put into your beliefs, I've probably put into my tenfold because I'm constantly having to defend myself.
Just food for thought. Best to you.

Why then do certain christian groups try to wake me up before noon on a nice relaxing Saturday?
Here is an Atheist that tried to do the same thing, but ended up getting hit by an old man with a broom:

Oh wow! I even have?!? Woo hoo! Your humility is impressive. you do no longer help the undesirable or the hungry or charities attempting to make a real distinction in human beings's lives - you in basic terms help people who pontificate a dose of Jesus and hand out Bibles they get for unfastened besides. And the place does your money pass? precise into their wallet. And what do they do with it? Get fat and wealthy. believe me, kiddo, it ain't going to taxes. There are impressive missionaries available who prefer to evangelise the Gospel alongside with volunteering their help in doing that which will certainly save human beings from ravenous and loss of existence of affliction yet I doubt your money is going to any of them. in spite of each little thing, isn't it in basic terms homosexuals who get AIDS? Why could desire to you help all those human beings? And if all and sundry is ravenous they could desire to get off their arses and artwork, precise? meanwhile, going into the depths of the Amazon and telling the locals to worship your God lest all of them be massacred by employing the white guy is that the style of blessing on their cultural society. prefer to confirm a sturdy missionary action picture? look at "save The River on your precise". once you're so huge on missionary artwork, why do no longer you upward push up off your extreme horse and head on into the jungle? i'm SOOO excited i ought to help! thank you for the praise. You forget approximately that atheists have self assurance in reason particularly than lack of understanding, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that. each time we devour your products we chuckle with regard to the kind you're making below you're generating in this fundie-run u . s . a .. Welcome to the deficit, brother. Hallelughahlah!

CHRISTIAN FRIEND
Somewhere, perhaps in Romans...and its too late for me to look it up...Paul speaks to the gifts that each one of us have and that we each must use our gifts for the betterment (which I assume includes converting non-believers) of the community. He reminds us that we do not all have the SAME gifts. So...while one of us may have the gift of gab and like to talk and preach off the ears of our friends the non-believers, others may write, others may do good works, etc.
I don't think Paul had any clue someday there would be Yahoo Answers and that some of us might have the gift of answering questions.
GOD LOVES US ALL

Logic -
If a person is an atheist - it pretty much goes without saying that salvation (in the form you are describing) is of no interest.
So, if you bypass them in your never-ending quest to convince, there should be no problem at all. Consider yourself absolved.

Well as long as Christians don't chop any heads off for refusing their message, I think it's a little extreme to accuse them of "intolerance" for trying to win atheists over to the Christian faith.
